Keep Calm and Carry God!
Forest Hills is a community whose mission is to help people connect to God and to one another, especially during times of disruption, anxiety and recommended “social distancing.”
We are doing the following:
  1. We are offering services in a step process:
    1. To view step process click here. Currently, we are on level yellow.
    2. We are offering in-person and remote worship opportunities Sundays at 10 am. We will make the service available on video message and Facebook page. You can see past messages here.
  2. Spring Grow Groups will be offered both in-person and virtually. Sign up here.
  3. This Lent we are offering prayer vigil on Good Friday (April 2 nd ) 8:00 pm through 12:00 am Easter Sunday (April 4th) at Church Sanctuary and Remote/at-home. Sign-up here or in the church lobby.
      1. A shepherd’s job, especially in the wee hours of the night, is to keep an eye on things and ensure the safety of the pray-er. We are the watchmen and watchwomen, just as the disciples watched over Jesus as He prayed. In the event that someone does not show up for their prayer slot or they have to leave early, it is up to the shepherd to make sure the vigil continues. “Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.” (Acts 20:28) Shepherd Sign up here or in the church lobby.
  4. We are sending out twice weekly devotional videos to help us stay grounded spiritually.
  5. Our building remains open. Individuals and groups may use our building, at their discretion. Check with your coordinator to see if the event is still being held.
We will continue to monitor the situation and make changes as necessary. Continue to check our church website for the most updated information. In the meantime, seek out creative ways to continue to be Jesus’ witnesses in our world. Right now, the world needs us more than ever!
Keep on and carry God!

In the peace of Jesus,
Pastor David
Love (Worship). Grow (Connect/Study). Serve (Outreach).
These three focus everything that Forest Hills is and does.
They are biblical expressions of God’s character, and they
identify God’s people in community.
