Office Administrator: 
This position is for the church’s front desk/ administrative position. We are looking to hire someone for 3 days a week 6 hours a day. Days and hours (within business hours) are flexible.
Continuous Tasks Needing Attention:
  1. Receptionist duties as agreed to with Senior Pastor including:
      1. Answering the phone that enhances the image of FHUMC
      2. Coordinate the flow of all office activities
      3. Collect, sort, and distribute daily mail
      4. Maintain office computer files
      5. Coordinate building requests for dates, space, and equipment
      6. Calendar maintained to reflect current time of meetings, space, etc. for office
        1. Print small calendars weekly
  2. Website Maintenance
      1. Update all areas of website including calendars and events
      2. Gather, compose, and post information from all areas of the church on an ongoing basic 
  3. Sunday Bulletin
      1. Create, edit, and print for Sunday morning
  4. Communication with all areas of the church
      1. Collect information, draft, create and send out weekly congregational emails
      2. Oversee the creation, editing and distribution of The Edge monthly newsletter
      3. Communicate and advertise select holidays and all major events at Forest Hills
      4. Work with teams and areas of the church to communicate within and outside the church family, including creation and maintenance of the following: Facebook, Business Cards, Flyers, Brochures, Bulletin Boards, Church Web Site
  5. Payroll submission twice each month
      1. Check writing for payables at least once per week
  6. Worship Production work with the Senior and Associate Pastor to help with recording, editing video and ProPresenter/ PowerPoint
Job Tasks As Needed:
  1. Maintain and order church supplies such as but not limited to coffee shop, maintenance, office, etc.
  2. Troubleshoot, maintain, and arrange for maintenance of office equipment
  3. Assist congregation and teams with the creation, copying and maintenance of documents/forms
  4. Oversee church office software, contacting those responsible for their intervention
  5. Assist the Membership Team with maintaining current records
  6. Coordinate all office walk-ins as to their needs
  7. Oversee Office Budget expenditures and request for expenditures
  8. Tasks as assigned by the Pastors
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
Worship Lead:
We worship about 80 people on Sundays in one worship service. We are a praise-style worship team which leads worship each week. It consists of several rotating volunteers. The worship team currently rehearses Wednesday evenings for an hour and a half (unless longer is needed), and Sunday mornings for an hour before
worship. We also host several special worship services, such as Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, and other occasions.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain healthy and motivating relationships with Pastors, Ministry Leadership and volunteers
• A willingness to learn from the senior pastor and other mentors.
• Plan and design worship slides on ProPresentor

Salary: $150 per week.

Schedule/Time Commitment:
  • Approx. 5-8 hrs. per week.
  • 1 rehearsal and weekend worship service
  • Position will be in direct supervision of the Senior Pastor and Staff-Parish Relations Lead.
