Reigning with the King
In the last of our King of Kings messages we learn how we are destined for glory! God calls us to be His kings and queens like His son Jesus. Our lives now are a time of training. This Sunday we’ll learn how we, in strict self-discipline, conform our lives to be like Jesus so we can reign with Him in our lives to come!

    Fighting for the King
Blurb: If Jesus is our King, that means we give Him our allegiance. We don’t live for ourselves, but for Him. This means that as disciples of Jesus, we serve as His soldiers. This Sunday we’ll learn how we are equipped and trained for fighting the good fight! A Dangerous King
This Sunday we celebrate World Communion Sunday. We proclaim that Jesus is King of the
whole earth, and that His Kingdom extends over the entire world. As King of Kings, Jesus
is dangerous: to evil (for Jesus defeats evil), but also to us! He does not leave us as we are,
but the Lord of our lives, He calls us to change and grow as He desires.

    A New King

Jesus is our King, and we are His subjects! This means that we have to change how we think
about Jesus and how we treat Him. Only our King can give us victory over the powers that
choke us. This Sunday we learn what it means to pledge our allegiance to Jesus as our King!

    “Behold, I Am Coming Soon!”
We go back to Narnia again this week to see how to have hope while facing so many defeats
and failures. We look to a New King, King Jesus, who brings us victory! We need not get
discouraged and overwhelmed. We have hope because our King is with us, “He is mighty
    to save!” (Zeph. 3:17)

    “Always Winter, Never Christmas”
This Sunday we begin our fall message series, exploring how Jesus is our King. As we don’t understand monarchs very well here in America, we’re turning to the world of Narnia (constructed by C.S. Lewis in his Chronicles of Narnia, particularly in the movie adaption The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe) and its lion king Aslan to see how we can relate to Jesus as our good and mighty King. For our first Sunday we’ll see how Narnia’s perpetual winter teaches us about our human condition and struggle. We need a Savior-King!
