John the Baptist may not be the first person we associate with Christmas.  However, he is the one who came to prepare the way of Jesus the coming King of kings!  John personifies Advent, which for us is a time of preparation.  As we begin Advent this week, we consider what John has to tell us and what we ought to do in response.
